HOW IT TESTED:
Although it’s not a household name in the States, Fischer’s racquets are popular in Europe. The company’s latest model is made with advanced players in mind. At more than 12 ounces, the M Comp 95 is a heavy stick that doesn’t provide much in the way of power. It’s also a ? exible frame and can feel springy at ? rst, but after you spend some time with it, you’ll ? nd it delivers a comfortable hitting experience and allows for creative shot-making. If you’ve got long, fast strokes and can routinely ? nd the sweet spot, this frame has plenty to offer. Surprisingly, many intermediate playtesters liked it, too. While recognizing it takes a strong player to maneuver the weight, they appreciated the control, stability, and comfort. With the M Comp 95, Fischer has also introduced “No Tolerance Technology,” which isn’t technology per se, but a quality-control feature. Typically, two racquets of the same model have slight variances in weight and balance that discerning players can pick up on. Fischer guarantees that each of the M Comp 95 frames will have exactly the same specs.

BOTTOM LINE:
Accomplished players with big swings who favor fl exible racquets should take a look at this one.
